Our customized mailing services for Canadian mail and International mail offer substantial savings and ease of use!
Though about one third of our mail goes to Canada, we have a full range of services available to every country in the world. While international postage can be confusing and expensive, we can blend multiple services to provide you a great international postal rate. By offering consolidation services through the United States Postal Service (USPS), direct injection and remail services to most countries, there's something to fit every deadline and budget!
A note to our wholesale customers (domestic mail houses, printers, etc), IMS does not and never will process domestic (US) mail. Our intention is not to compete in any way - we only offer lettershop services if our customer has no available means or access to those types of services.
Here's a summary of our primary services:
USPS Consolidation
Available to every country in the world, these services allow us to commingle mail from many customers and create one large mailing (per service) per day. Because of the consolidation process, there are no minimums and the pieces can be all different sizes and weights. Printed matter pieces can weigh up to 66 lbs. Merchandise items are limited to a maximum piece weight of 4 lbs. Mail is required to have a USA return address and indicia.
International Priority Airmail (IPA)
Delivery in 3-7 days
Savings to 40% (compared to postage only for USPS 1st Class Mail Intl)
International Surface Air Lift (ISAL)
Delivery in 7-14 days
Savings to 60%
Small Package Return Service(new for 2011)

Canada Post
We offer a full menu of services direct through Canada Post. Our all-inclusive pricing includes border clearance and entry at either Windsor, ON, or Mississauga, ON (Toronto). Canada mail must have a Canadian return address and indicia which can improve responses from Canadians.

Direct Injection
A great tool for direct marketers trying to make a mailer look like it came from "across the street" - a proven method of improving response rates. We currently offer services to 25 plus countries. Delivery and potential savings will vary by country and service.
Royal Mail (UK)
With same day linehauls to London from our entry at Chicago O'Hare, we can access the UK domestic mail stream within 24-48 hours of entry. We offer 1st and 2nd Class mail, parcels (PacketPost), and publication services.
Remail
These services utilize foreign postal administrations that are able to offer cheaper international rates to other countries (hence the "remail" name). These services have inherent issues with consistency but can be inexpensive alternatives to some higher cost options.
Business Reply
"International Business Reply Service" is available through the USPS and is very simple to use. Customers can use their domestic BR account with a unique (intl) envelope or card. IMS can assist with the design contacts within the USPS.
We can also set up a business reply program through the destination country including artwork for the reply mechanism, a return address, mail box rental, and regular sweeps as needed.
