And if the address is formatted closely to what's used in the country of destination it will arrive sooner and create a better image for the sender. The country name should be in the language of the sending country and, according to UPU regulations, "[to] avoid any difficulty in the countries of transit, it is desirable for the name of the country of destination to be added in an internationally known language."
